What is Drummunity?
A ”Drummunity” circle is a high energy, fun and empowering activity for any group. Lori Fithian, drum circle facilitator and workshop leader, will bring her collection of hand drums and percussion toys to your location to transform your community into a “Drummunity” – a word she invented for the community-building that happens when people come together around a circle of drums. Any group can benefit - from pre-schools to universities, private parties to outdoor community festivals, staff meetings to international conferences, hospitals to wellness centers - drumming in community just makes people feel good! You won’t believe your ears (or your eyes!) when you hear your group playing together - on everything from hand drums, pickle buckets, salad bowls to muffin tins! Musical experience is not necessary. Rhythmic music is accessible to everyone – it’s impossible to play out of tune!
